Of the three biggest manufacturers of hard drives (Western Digital, Maxtor, and Seagate) my absolute favorite is Western Digital. Having been the lead technician at a computer repair store I’ve seen my share of hard drives go bad. Not once did I see a Western Digital hard drive go bad. Since this is where you will be storing all your files and information you want a hard drive that is reliable.
